Brittany Allen（布列塔尼·艾伦）是《失去的礼物：流产、悲伤与慰藉众生的上帝》（Lost Gifts: Miscarriage, Grief, and the God of All Comfort）一书的作者。她与丈夫詹姆斯育有两子，另有三个宝宝因流产不幸夭折。他们是森特维尔基督徒团契（Centerville Christian Fellowship）的成员。
